The Cuba national baseball team is the national team of Cuba. The team is made up of amateur players from the Cuban national baseball system, as there are no professional sports leagues in Cuba. Cuba has been described as a baseball powerhouse and currently ranks #1 in IBAF's world rankings. The 1968-1969 season was the eighth season of Cuba's national baseball system.The eighth Serie Nacional was won by Azucareros, who were managed by Servio Borges. Both defending champion La Habana and four-time winner Industriales trailed the club by a single game.
